Blogging has never been my thing but writing has always been one outlet I’ve been very fond of since I can remember. May it be in literary form of poems or short stories, or even in putting into paper unsystematic words or phrases that randomly pop out whenever a light turns on (I’m into animations so excuse my little fantasies). Speaking out my thoughts sometimes turns into “word vomit” or having me look like I’m trying to have a fight with whoever it is I’m having a discussion with (it sucks being misunderstood sometimes!).
So here it is…My very first blog.
Since I think I may have lost most of my writings, if not all, I thought what better storage can anyone have than a handy computer and good internet connection?
Thus, a blog space materialized.
I’m not sure if it’s my drive to say or write something that made me decide to splurge out my thoughts on the internet (with people possibly reading) or this boredom that Ramadan brings.
Anyway, the thing that inspired me to write a few minutes ago was this little candy cover.
The different clashing colors remind me of LIFE. Not only mine but of everyone around me. Letters in colors of pink, yellow, magenta, orange and light green jog my memories and made this little kaleidoscope of thoughts and feelings, mostly positive ones by the way.
The tiny colorful letters convey the various positive emotions that life has been giving me. At 25, the road has not been all smooth and straight, but rather rocky and confusing sometimes. Bumps and bruises have been acquired, but a lot of things gained alongside. But no matter where or what this life brought or will bring, only the positive colors will always remain.
So join me in this little journey of mine called… LIFE.

Three Meals a Day

Waking up to the smell of breakfast is one of the main things that make me rise up from a night's sleep early in the morning, yes it is more effective than any alarm clock. Freshly cooked eggs and meat, the aroma of newly prepared hot coffee, and crisp toasts give me a slight tinge of excitement. Little me and sister This is like me as a child. Carefully taken care of at home, like breakfast prepared by a loving mother. Same as how the enticing aroma of breakfast would tickle my senses, everything, from minute things to gigantic creatures and structures would excite me as a child. Curiosity was my best friend, and luckily, I have a father who’s eager in teaching me and my other siblings about life, prudently preparing his delicate little daughters for the real world. The Hidden Beauty of Sipalay

We were in search of the perfect place where we could take a breather when my sister and I arrived from Dubai for our vacation. It had to be somewhere quiet and away from the busyness of the city. It also had to have white sands and clear crystal waters. Most of all, it had to be somewhere not that far as we only had literally two days to spare since my sister only had fourteen days to spend here in the Philippines and we had to be back in Bacolod in time for our little sister's graduation.  Ride to Sipalay So after tedious research on possible places, and vigorous calls and text messaging to possible resorts to stay at, we ended up with the best option...Sipalay. Reaching there would only take us less than four hours, we could take our own car since it's in the same province, and we could also have a little look at the other scenery around the other cities and towns on the way there.
